Here is a unique opportunity to adopt a Valve from our Colossus Computer. Colossus uses over 2,500 valves in order to break the Lorenz cipher used by the German High Command.
Among its innovations was a single paper-tape loop containing the intercepted message punched out as a series of holes that Colossus read at a rate of 5,000 characters per second. This was run on a loop to repeatedly try ways to find the rotor settings to decrypt the messages.
Help protect this machine for future generations to see and wonder.
