Nibbles - Computer science fun for families with little ones


Nibbles are activities designed for families with children age 4-7 (older siblings welcome). The activities are linked with computers and programming but are 'unplugged' movement, arts and crafts activities. After the session families will have the opportunity to use computer games that are suitable for early years children.

The cost of the ticket includes museum entry.

Activities include:

  • Robot Dancing – create a dance routine. Replicate it on a robot.

  • Pixel pictures -create pictures out of coloured squares just like the graphics on your computer screen

  • Robot junk modelling - use every day items to make a robot.

  • Secrets and Spies - write messages using lemon juice change your name into a secret code and make a bracelet

  • Amazing maze – create your own maze and navigate around it. Creating instruction like you would if you were computer programming.
