HCode was developed by the Research Division of Brush Electrical Engineering in Loughborough. They had found programming their Elliott 803 in Elliott Autocode too limited in its features for their needs, and 803 Algol-60 too big and slow.
Developing HCode in-house was their solution.
The talk will cover:
The main features of the language illustrated with code examples.
Novel features of HCode.
Using libraries and extensions.
Learning HCode from the perspective of a new HCode programmer.
PLEASE NOTE: Participants will be sent the link to the virtual talk no later than two days before the event.
