An exciting, challenging and educational 12-hour hackathon, in partnership with Particle and Intelligent Industries. Get ready for an electrifying journey into the world of innovation with Hack the Museum!

This hackathon is a 12-hour marathon of creation, hosted by The National Museum of Computing, in partnership with Particle and Intelligent Industries.

Come build your dream project, learn from our mentors, and win seriously cool prizes!

This year, we're rolling out unique tracks for your hacks:

  • Sustainability - best sustainability-focused project

  • Museum Magic - best project tailored to the Museum

  • Creative Use of Technology - most original/creative project

  • Accessibility - best accesiblity-focused project

  • Technical Innovation - best use of emerging technologies (e.g. AI)

It's completely free to join, and we welcome all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned hackers. Don't miss this unique blend of learning, creativity, and fun!

Terms and Conditions:

There is no charge to attend this hackathon, although participants will need to travel to and from TNMOC on the day.

This event is targeted at students, currently in full or part-time education, aged 16+

For safeguarding reasons, under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/carer. There is no requirement for this chaperone to have a Computer Science background. Chaperones will benefit from free access to the Museum while the hackathon takes place.
